Description of research work and teaching area

Participation in scientific projects:

– the creation of the Scientific and Innovative Educational and Production Complex (SIEPC), which unites over 20 enterprises and institutions of the road industry of Kazakhstan, which allowed the implementation of dual education in KazADI; the creation of “Howest University – KazADI” – Kazakh-Belgian Association for Science and Education; the international agreements on scientific and technical cooperation with 13 leading educational, scientific and industrial organizations of the road industry, such as MADI STU (Moscow); University of Rezekne (Latvia), SibADI (Omsk), Tashkent Automobile and Road Institute, Ghent University (Belgium), Silesian Technical University (Poland), etc.; KazADI is an associate member of the Intergovernmental Council of Road Workers of the CIS;

• the supervision of 99 doctoral and master’s theses (degree applicants from Russia, Germany, Jordan, Kampuchea, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan). 12 Doctors and 18 Candidates of Tech. Sc., over 200 undergraduates and engineers have been trained. They work in leading universities and at enterprises of Kazakhstan, and near and far abroad. Creation of scientific schools – “Wearing Out of the Working Bodies of Earth-Moving Machines” and “Forecasting the Parameters of Lifting and Transport, Construction and Road Machines.”
• development and implementation at the enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan of an underground bulldozer, a scraper with a plow-type bucket, removable tips of excavator teeth, two installations for testing materials for wearing out, a working body for cleaning roads from ice, machinery and equipment for the reuse of asphalt concrete pavements, machines of special purpose for the development of mudflows and landslides, crusher DC-1KL, road rollers with adaptive working bodies; manual machine NC-1KL, installations for the preparation and storage of liquid anti-icing reagents, etc.

– Head and direct Supervisor of research and contractual work in the amount of more than 300 million KZT by the programs of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and of the certification and technical inspection of local roads in Kazakhstan. More than 50 motor road passports of enterprises of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan have been prepared.

• scientific works of Rakhimzhan Kabashev received international recognition. He has repeatedly spoken at international conferences and symposia in Russia, Ukraine, Germany, France, USA, Finland, China, Japan. He is fluent in German and French.
