In 1999, the Kazakh Automobile and Road Construction Institute (KazADI) was established with state license AB No. 0142694.

In 2001, KazADI signed an agreement with the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan, strengthening ties with government agencies and providing support for the training of specialists for the transport industry.

In 2002, KazADI signed an agreement with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) to develop projects in transport infrastructure and modernize educational programs.

In 2003, the Almaty Automobile and Road Construction College was established at KazADI, and a Psychological Service was created to support students and staff.

In 2005, KazADI signed an agreement with the Technical University of Dresden (Germany) for academic exchange, research, and dual degree programs.

In 2006, KazADI signed an agreement with the University of Mobility and Transport Technologies (Austria) to develop international cooperation and implement modern educational programs.

In 2007, KazADI signed an agreement with the State Research Institute of Transport and Communications to strengthen scientific potential and train specialists.

In 2008, KazADI received its first accreditation, confirming the compliance of its educational programs with international standards.

In 2009, KazADI signed an agreement with the National Joint-Stock Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ) for cooperation in the railway industry.

In 2010, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with Howest University (Belgium), and the Department of Transport Logistics and Economics was established.

In 2011, the Department of Transport Construction and Urban Studies was established to train specialists in the design, construction, and operation of transport infrastructure.

In 2012, KazADI signed an agreement with the International Association of Road and Transport Institutes (IRF) to integrate international standards into education and research.

In 2013, the Department of Transport Engineering and Information Technology was established to train personnel in IT and the automation of transport processes.

In 2014, KazADI signed an agreement with the Turkish University of Transport and Communications to expand international cooperation and joint programs.

In 2015, KazADI signed an agreement with the State Corporation "Government for Citizens" to implement modern technologies and train personnel for public services.

In 2016, KazADI signed an agreement with the National Company "KazAvtoZhol" to develop the road industry and train specialists.

In 2018, KazADI signed an agreement with the State Transport University (STU, Ukraine) for academic and scientific cooperation.

In 2020, KazADI signed an agreement with the Agency for Transport Infrastructure of Kazakhstan for scientific research and improvement of educational programs.

In 2021, KazADI signed an agreement with the Kazakhstan National Agency for Quality and Accreditation to improve the accreditation system and international recognition.

In 2023, the first issue of the scientific journal "KazADI Bulletin" began publication.

In 2024, KazADI celebrated its 30th anniversary.

In 2025, KazADI became a leader in training personnel in the field of transport construction and logistics in Kazakhstan.
