On February 22, 2022, an event entitled "The Gift of the Spirit" was held at Almaty Library No. 44 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of M. Auezov's birth. Guests included Gulzhamila Eskobek kyzy, an excellent student of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Nurmanbet Kizatovich, a photojournalist and laureate of the International Zhambyl Prize.
Students from the L. B. Goncharov Kazakh Automobile and Road Construction Institute also participated in the event, and students from Erkinuly Alinur zhane Hamza Sundet recited M. Makatayev's poetry. M. Auezov's name and creative legacy always attract the attention and interest of schoolchildren, students, and adults.
