From April 2 to 12, 2022, Frederic Dulster, Vice President of Howest University (Belgium), paid a working visit to the Kazakh Automobile and Road Institute (KazADI). The purpose of the visit was to summarize the educational project between the partner universities and outline the goals of the upcoming project under the international Erasmus+ program.

During his stay in Kazakhstan, Mr. Dulster conducted a series of training seminars for KazADI staff and gave guest lectures to students. He also visited KazADI's partner commercial companies in Almaty, where Howest University students successfully complete internships every year. Vice-Rector Howest's participation in the International Online Scientific and Practical Conference "Transformation and Position of Higher Education in the 21st Century," which took place on April 6, 2022, was significant. The conference brought together university leaders, researchers, and faculty from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Latvia, Belgium, and Poland. Over 50 scholars attended the session, which discussed improving the educational process at universities across the world, opportunities for international cooperation, and many other aspects. International collaboration is a vital component of higher education institutions. It showcases the institution's work and sets the standard for global leaders in exploring cutting-edge trends and new knowledge, essential to modern education.
