The development team, including second-year IS student @kazadi_kz Shahrukh Bakhtakhunov and Dina Panyukova, a lecturer in the IC, OD, and IS Department, passed the qualifying round on April 14, 2022, and became one of seven teams that participated in the 72-hour #Makeathon #Almaty social project from May 27 to 30, organized by @tomkazakhstan.
Within a short timeframe, teams must create a working device or program that performs a specific task to assist a person with disabilities.
A team of four, led by Dina Vasilyevna (two students and two schoolchildren), soldered, programmed, and assembled three devices and one mobile app for hearing-impaired child speed skaters and their coaches in just 72 hours.
Our team took second place in the project competition! Congratulations!
We wish you success in your noble endeavor!
